Warringtonfire provides fire testing and certification, including Certifire product approvals, the FIRAS installer scheme, EWCL5 for external wall contractors and, through sister brand BM TRADA, the Q-Mark schemes for fire doorsets and their installation. Its Warrington laboratories run fire resistance furnaces — five in service and two more being added at Birchwood Park — with reaction to fire, marine and furniture testing across the group, and the High Wycombe site houses the technical and certification teams under UKAS accreditation (1762). It is part of Element Materials Technology; its Australian fire business was sold to Jensen Hughes in December 2023.
