BRE is a UKAS-accredited testing laboratory (0578) covering the BS 476 parts, the EN 1363/1364/1634 fire resistance series, reaction to fire, the EN 54 detection series and BS 8414 external cladding tests, and a UKAS-accredited product certification body (0007) issuing LPCB approvals and LPS scheme listings. BRE is owned by the BRE Trust, which funds its research.
