GESTE is a Renens engineering house (an EPFL spin-off) whose fire-safety division delivers fire-safety engineering for complex and infrastructure projects — hospitals, stadiums, underground railway stations and tunnels. It builds global fire-safety strategies backed by CFD smoke-control simulation, pedestrian-flow evacuation modelling and structural fire-resistance calculation.
