Its large-scale fire testing is aimed at battery energy storage, run to its own CSA TS-800 procedure at facilities in North Carolina and Suzhou and at the distributed-energy laboratory at Independence, Ohio, which offers megawatt-scale fire testing and an outdoor fire and explosion test area.
